Arctic Power Berries are healthy and tasty berry powders, natures own super food, made with Finnish wild berries. The brief was to redesign the packaging and branding to reflect better the Scandinavian ingredients. The new look for the brand was inspired by the Arctic purity and nature. The playful and strong logo, a reindeer with a berry twig in its mouth, emphasizes the Nordic heritage. It instantly communicates the brand’s core: all natural wild berries from Lapland. 



The packaging changed from being a stand up pouch to an eco-friendly cardboard tube with a re-sealable lid. The texture of a northern deadwood trunk creates a clean, icy background for the modern typography. The vibrant lids express joyfulness, one of the brand’s main values. The berry colors work also as signifiers to the flavors. 


The launch of the re-branding in September 2015 boosted the sales growth. Sales revenue in the last quarter was twice as much as the previous quarters combined. Large stores such as Harrods, Wholefoods and Ocado have listed Arctic Power Berries and they all have praised the package design, which is one of the brand’s unique selling points. Furthermore, since the multi-coloured tubes look good together as a group, sales for get-all-four bundles have significantly grown. 

The brand has already locked its place on the shelves of Whole Foods, Harrods, Selfridges and Waitrose and several other retail chains and national distributors in the UK and international wholesalers have expressed their interest towards this new, unique and innovative brand and product. This means that even faster growth is expected for the year 2016. In addition, the brand has gained attention in Finland as well and got listed as one of the official Santa Claus brand’s few selected partners.
